Toyota Tundra

The Toyota Tundra hit the market for the first time in the year 1999 and is still continuing its production till date. The Toyota Tundra vehicles released during the period 2002 to till date falls under the category of full size pickup truck. The Toyota Tundra was released as a predecessor to the model Toyota T100 and is related to the Toyota Sequoia.

was considered widely to be the first full sized import truck designed with an American look-and-feel and marketed with the advanced V8 engine. The present Tundra models are assembled in Princeton, Indiana and San Antonio, Texas. The Tundra released as the starting model included several features of Toyota Tacoma and the Toyota T100. A new redesigned model was released in the year 2007.

The Tundra was first displayed in the year 2006 at the Chicago Auto Show. The 5.7 liter V8 engine in the vehicle produces 284 kilo watts of power and 544 Nm of torque. Some of the other features included in the vehicle when compared with the previous version vehicle are the optional tow mirrors, alloy wheels in the size of 22 inches, 26.4 US gallon fuel tank, blue tooth, extra large calipers and disc brakes, backup camera, large center console and the 6-speed sequential automatic transmission.
